Cyanotype photography is a printing process created in 1842 using two non-toxic chemicals exposed to UV light to create cyan-blue prints. Once the chemicals are combined, they are painted on paper, dried, layered with digital film negatives and exposed to UV light. The type of medium (paper, fabric, canvas), subject matter and duration of time exposed to light, create unique photos each time.
