TWENTY TWENTY-TWO

January 28, 2023

Twenty twenty-two, another trip around the sun. This past year was filled with a lot of love and trips with the most important people in my life.

From winning state with Wayzata Gymnastics (their first time ever!!) to seeing Dua Lipa at Target Center. A spring trip to Boston, and another bachelorette in the sunshine. Another Door County weekend, then a trip to Sun Valley to visit my best friend. From a sisters trip to Salem to a Grand Forks weekend with college friends (including a hockey game!). And ending the year with cuddles from my niece Ella, a great way to spend time with family during the holidays.

This past year was a whirlwind. Accomplishing winning state with Carly and Abby was the highlight of my year. We made history alongside the team, the first to win state for Wayzata High School Gymnastics. Looking forward into 2023, we will finally be taking our honeymoon and I cannot wait. This next year I hope to continue pushing our life together, and spending quality time with our families. On to another year, ciao for now!

TWENTY TWENTY-ONE

January 28, 2023

Twenty twenty-one was the year that life slowly turned back to normal (and I mean slowly). We were able to put some of the pieces back together that life pre-pandemic took away.

From a masked season with Wayzata Gymnastics, to a weekend with friends in Bayfield, Wisconsin. A bachelorette weekend for my best friend in Texas to celebrating an MBA for Elliott in Ohio. From a cabin weekend in Wisconsin, to celebrating our first anniversary with a reception, to seeing Brandi Carlile at Red Rocks. From a boozy bachelorette in Stillwater to spending the holidays with the family.

We learned how to celebrate the little victories, and move past the things we could not change. I loved the chance to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family. On to the next, ciao!

TWENTY TWENTY

January 28, 2023

Twenty twenty, hmmm what can I say. This was a year full of some of the highest of highs and some of the lowest of lows. I learned a lot about what is important to me in my life, and how fortunate we have been. With the world shut down, it forced us to turn inward and reflect. I learned that I want to hold onto the relationships in my life and put in the time to nurture them.

From another successful season, to one last trip to sunshine. Finding new hobbies including walks around Parkers Lake during lockdown, to a Covid friendly bachelorette party. From Door County summer weekends, to marrying my best friend on the north shore and enjoying our mini moon back where we got engaged. Buying our first home together and finally spending a Covid friendly holiday together, masks and all.

While our wedding was not exactly what I had planned, it turned out to be exactly what we needed. It was a reminder how many people we had on our side. The support we had from our family and friends that traveled to the north shore with us and those watching over zoom was incredible. Looking back on this year, it was a struggle. But it still holds one of my favorite days of my life. On to the next, ciao!
