This past weekend Nick and I decided to take a celebratory trip to Fort Meyers, Florida to celebrate 5 years together! Both of us have a bit of a travel bug so we try to travel as much as possible, including exploring instead of gifts. Hopefully this will be the start of a favorite tradition.

We found this perfect little Airbnb about a t-shirt shop right in the heart of Fort Meyers Beach. When Nick found that listing he knew we should jump on it. While we didn't spend a lot of time in our little place, it was the perfect spot to walk around the little mini downtown area, and only a hop to the white sandy beaches.

We enjoyed just about every little restaurant within walking distance to keep our tummies full! Trying things (or should I say Nick tried) from fish and shrimp tacos, to coconut shrimp to steak. We also tried just about every drink on the menu, which was my favorite part. While the weather was sunny and warm, it had a little bit of a breeze so there was no swimming for us. Nick found a perfect boat ride around the bay to learn about the marine biology that surrounded our boat. I learned a few new trivia facts, Nick found a quarter sized sand dollar, and some dolphins enjoyed riding along our wake.

I would say this was the perfect trip to start off 2018 with my favorite boy, but I can't wait to see what else this year has to offer! Ciao for now! G

In 2017, I had the honor to help some clients with logos to launch their business. I could not have been more thrilled with how they turned out! While each company has their unique specialty, I loved taking a crack at each one and testing my design abilities.

Suddenly we round the corner of 2017. Man did this year go fast! Looking back I realize how many amazing people I have in my life and the great experiences that took place these last twelve months.

From the Women's March in St. Paul and our annual Easter visit in Door County, to a weekend getaway with my favorite gal. A wedding in San Diego, a summer getaway in my home away from home to exploring northern Minnesota. Celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Gavin, geeking out over Aaron Draplin to becoming an assistant coach of the Wayzata High School gymnastics team.

This year was nothing short of busy but I couldn't be happier. My New Years resolution for 2018 is to keep in touch with people in my life. With all of the craziness that is life, I regret to reach out and catch up with people that were once so important. I'm coming for you 2018!
